Trivia: I had called PBS in the early part of the 2000s to see if they would be up for using me as a replacement for LeVar Burton on Reading Rainbow. The short answer was 'no'. Apple Dapple was an attempt to win over the PBS executives (they had an April/October greenligtht schedule). Submission to the network never materialized; I ended up getting involved with MCAT in 2003 and later producing my own stuff on public access and for worldwide release over YouTube.Link Starbureiy 14:18, June 1, 2014 (UTC)
